华尔街英语销售话术曝光,有学员退费反被诱导报十几万元课程
近日,华尔街英语被爆出“即将宣布破产”、学员退费无门、教师遭遇欠薪。有学员向南都记者透露,除了给学员一封“请注意,我们将在未来几天内与您正式沟通关于公司和您的学习情况”的邮件外,华尔街英语没有对学员做出过任何回应。
在华尔街英语陷入争议的同时,其无孔不入的推销话术也引发了网友讨论。曾在华尔街英语做过一年课程顾问(CC)的谭某接受了南都记者的采访,并爆料了课程顾问的“销售话术”。
据谭某透露,她在2019年-2020年期间,曾在南京的华尔街英语某中心做过一年的课程顾问。中心有课程顾问、辅助教学(SA)还有外教,辅助教学的月薪4000;而课程顾问有5-8个,负责招生,靠拿提成,收入上不封顶;外教有3-4个,是授课的主要成员。其中课程顾问流动性最大,也需要不停招人。
课程顾问实行淘汰机制,实习期半年,不达标走人;转正后连续3个月不达标,也要走人。谭某工作过的中心要求每个课程顾问每天至少约四个客户来学校,每个月至少卖出20万元的课程,课程顾问可以拿2.5%的提成。也正因为如此,谭某当时一批40个课程顾问入职,被送入不同的校区培训,最后淘汰到只剩下2个人。
谭某告诉南都记者,她知道一个“大神级别”的课程顾问,一个月可以拉100万的业绩,一个人就能挑起一家中心的全部业绩,平均月收入有10万元,“所以那个大神级别的CC,后来升了大领导,管校长+培训新CC”。
除课程顾问外,中心的校长也要为销售业绩负责。谭某所在的中心,要求一个月至少有100万的业绩,因此也造成了校长的高流动性。仅谭某工作的一年内,就送走了两任校长。如果有学员退费,则需要把退费的部分加到下个月的指标上。
关于“销售话术”,谭某告诉南都记者,一般都是先聊天,挖掘客户背景,“找到他的痛点后推课程,不报名就一轮一轮说服,戳痛点+画大饼。”
谭某给南都记者出示了多份针对课程顾问的培训内容,其中根据学员的职业,分列了多种不同的话术策略,包括企业高管、私企老板、专业人士、公务员、销售、家庭主妇、学生等。
在谭某记录的培训笔记中,更是详细到了针对学员的不同问题的解答。比如在学员问及有什么优惠的时候,要“出办公室假装去帮他问大老板要优惠,快去快回,不能凉,不能着急,要快速利索”;在学员表示需要问家人意见的时候,要通过话术阻止学员询问家人,“您自己想读吗?您给家人说是想让家人拿钱吗?是告知吗?还是把球抛给你的家人呢?如果都不是,那你告诉您的家人干嘛呢?”此外,华尔街英语的课程顾问还会引导学员使用分期付款下单。

谭某透露,曾有学员来中心退费,中心的校长问及退费的原因后,学员表示学不好,觉得没意思;校长表示是因为这个课程适合有时间的学生,工作繁忙的学员需要报名VIP课程,于是学生就没退费,还报名了十几万元的VIP课程。这类案例一度在谭某工作的中心被“传为佳话”。
