4.关于《沉默的羔羊》里一句话的问题

一天夜里，史达琳从黑暗中惊醒，她听到了凄厉的尖叫声。

是春天的羔羊，它们正在牲口棚里遭宰杀。这一情节在全书所占的篇幅不多，但它却是史达琳的一大心病，在她幼小的心灵上刻下了深深的创痕，直接或间接地影响了她以后的人生路径和理想抉择。

家贫，父死，孤儿一样漂泊的童年，唯一的出路是读书，在读书中竞争，在竞争中取胜，由此出人头地，为父母争光，为史达琳家族争光。蒙大拿牧场七个月的寄养生活使史达琳明白了什么叫任人宰割，什么是弱者的呼号。

孤苦无援的史达琳自己就是个弱者，从羔羊遭宰杀时发出的尖叫声中，她或者依稀联想到了自己的命运。她不能接受这样的命运。

如果说史达琳童年时在牧场听到的羔羊的尖叫声是真实的话，那么她长大后心中时不时听到的羔羊的尖叫声更多的是具有了象征的意义，它代表了弱者、受害者，象征了这些人在孤苦无援中所发出的呼号。在本书中，这些弱者、受害者又全为年轻女性，这就使史达琳似乎更多了几分切肤之痛。

她想象着她们生前的处境，回忆着她们受害后的惨状，最后一切便凝聚到一个声音上：羔羊在尖叫，尖叫，尖叫！那是一种召唤，一种不可抗拒的动力，只要这声音一天不止，史达琳就不得安宁，她会做噩梦，会半夜里醒来，会不顾一切地闯入一处处令大胆的男人都闻而生畏望而却步的罪恶的场所。自然，史达琳最终成功了，她逮住并击毙了“野牛比尔”，所以她终于可以“睡得很沉，很甜，因为羔羊已经安静”。

沉默的羔羊，学其纯洁但不学其软弱，白居易的这首诗发人深省

“诗魔”白居易曾经以燕子、喜鹊、蝌蚪、蜜蜂等禽虫写过一组12首寓言诗，借这些禽虫来抒发情感、书写哲思，读来耳目一新、发人深省。今天一起品尚其中的第六首。

禽虫十二首其六

白居易

兽中刀枪多怒吼，

鸟遭罗弋尽哀鸣。

羔羊口在缘何事，

暗死屠门无一声。

这首诗，白居易提到了山中走兽、天上飞鸟、家中羔羊三种动物，写走兽和飞鸟，都是为写羔羊做铺垫，形成矛盾和冲突，以强烈的反差和对比来表达自己的价值观。

诗人说，你听听，那山中的走兽中了猎人的刀枪后就会发出震耳欲聋的怒吼，那空中的飞鸟被网罗住就会发出椎心泣血的哀鸣。言外之意，不管是天上飞的还是山中跑的，只要是个活生生的动物，你伤害它、拘束它，它们就会有不平之鸣、不忿之争。这是人之常情、物之常理。

接下来，诗人笔锋一转，说到此中的例外，直接控诉羔羊。​洁白如玉的羔羊啊，你也是全须全尾的活物啊，为什么屠夫举起屠刀屠杀你的时候却连一声都不叫呢，好歹你也“咩咩”几嗓子啊？诗人哀羔羊被屠宰之不幸，然又怒羔羊被屠杀却一声不吭之不争，拳拳之心历历在目。

​我们常用沉默的羔羊来比喻那些逆来顺受、委曲求全之人。这些人往往内心如羔羊之毛般无比纯洁，但是为言吞吞吐吐，为人卑卑怯怯，为事嗫嗫懦懦，活得没有血性、没有魄力、没有斗争精神，任人宰割、任人欺凌、任人羞辱，就像羔羊一样，刀架到脖子上都不知道“咩咩咩”叫几声，惜哉、痛哉、悲哉，呜呼哀哉！
