我们小时候学英语，方法千篇一律“三部曲”：单词背诵+课文翻译+疯狂刷题。因为对儿童英语语言习得规律缺乏必要的认知，所以大家都是跳过听说阶段，直接进入的阅读训练了。

如今，大家都知道“自然拼读”（phonics）是儿童英文阅读入门训练，是帮助孩子将听力词汇转化为阅读词汇的桥梁。有了一定量的阅读词汇之后，就如同孩子学了汉语拼音，阅读水平就会上一个新的台阶。

当然，自然拼读需要和高频词汇（sight words）结合起来，它们就如同英文启蒙阅读训练的两条腿，缺一不可。

很多父母对此没有引起足够的重视，往往是顾此失彼，在自然拼读和高频词汇基本功不知识的情况下，就急急忙忙地带着孩子阅读分级读物了。

这是一套国外英文网站的创意资料，下面，苗爸展示其中的部分内容，来一起欣赏其与众不同之处。

短元音句子

这套资料是经过分类整理，方便大家按照不同的专题，从易到难进行训练，第一部分，是一个短元音（short vowel）的句子资料。

每个句子都包含一些有短元音的单词，而且将单词放在句子里，可以通过句子的上下文语境，辅助理解记忆单词，这与许多自然拼读的资料不一样，它们多是孤立的单词。

每一个句子里面的单词，几乎都包含同一个短元音，孩子只要知道这个短音的发音，就基本上可以自己读出整个句子了。

字母组合/双元音句子

英语中有许多字母组合( blend )，都有着大体固定的发音，将这些单词集中在一起，便于孩子巩固字母组合和双元音（digraph）的发音。

第一句的字母组合包括：sl, th

第二句的字母组合包括：gl

第三句的字母组合包括：fl

第四句的字母组合包括：gr

每一个句子都有一个配图，给孩子以深刻的视觉冲击，产生深刻的影响，图文并茂，可以辅助孩子对句子的理解。

R元音

其实，所谓的“R元音”，就是“元音+R”的字母组合，如果是美式发音的话，要注意卷舌，很多孩子都不能很好地发这个音。

例如在第一句中，r 元音为：ar

在第二句中，r 元音为：er

在第三句中，r 元音为：ir

在第四句中，r 元音为：or

一个句子中有几个包含相同元音字母的单词，从语言学角度来说，这叫“押韵”，押韵的句子最大的特点，读起来朗朗上口，听起来悦耳动听。

这与中国古代的诗歌类似，只不过，中国古诗的押韵一般为“尾韵”，即每一个句子的最后一个单词的韵母相同。例如李白的《静夜思》中的前两句：

床前明月光

疑是地上霜

上两句的句尾字“光”和“霜”，就属于押“尾韵”（uang）。

而英语的押韵可以是同句中不同单词的押韵，也可以是押“腹韵”和“头韵”。例如上图中第三句的horse 和 thorn，就属于押“腹韵”（or）。

每天带着孩子读一读这些押韵的句子，可以有效培养孩子的语感，逐渐了解英语中的韵律，欣赏英语的语言之美。

父母如果自己发音不太好，可以使用“讯飞有声”app，拍照朗读功能，其中的美音播音员，声音还是比较地道的，可以模仿跟读。

当然，在跟读之前，先鼓励孩子根据所学的自然拼读规则，自己先试着读一下句子，实在是不会读的，再利用手机软件模仿跟读，以免孩子对“讯飞有声”形成依赖，而失去了自然拼读训练的意义。

最后，也可以把这些句子复制进“讯飞有声”，利用零碎时间连续播放，作为“磨耳朵”使用，也是一个不错的选择。
